Player has ‘special interest’ from West Ham – Will decide future shortly, club want to ‘make cash’

By Naveen Ullal

Last week, Estadio Deportivo reported West Ham United have approached Yunus Musah’s camp to register their interest in him. It was also stated the player and Valencia are both keen on a transfer.

Today’s edition of AS has a short report on the 20-year-old, titled: ‘West Ham interested in Yunus Musah’.

Within the report, it’s said the midfielder is one of the assets of the La Liga side to ‘make cash’ in this window.

Operating mainly in the middle of the pitch, he managed two assists from 37 games last season.

The report states the American’s performances, youth, projection and having a UK passport is an ‘incentive’ for several Premier League teams, ‘especially West Ham’.

The Hammers are the only English club mentioned and the newspaper also makes it clear they haven’t submitted an offer for Musah so far.

The player, for his part, should ‘shortly decide his fate’.

Online, AS say several Premier League sides would be ‘interested in hiring’ the player, but they point out ‘there is a special interest’ from West Ham.

The possibility of Musah moving to Germany or Italy also shouldn’t be ruled out.

It’s now down to David Moyes’ side to make an offer, if they want to bring Musah to London.

West Ham plotting a move for Napoli’s Hirving Lozano

Premier League side West Ham are reportedly interested and contemplating a move for Napoli winger Hirving Lozano this summer.

According to a report by Il Mattino, West Ham are aiming to secure the services of Napoli winger Hirving Lozano during this summer transfer window.

The Mexican international’s contract is set to expire in June 2024 and the Partenopei haven’t made any advancements in the situation of renewing it.

With a host of attacking talents within their ranks and the recent permanent addition of striker Giovanni Simeone, Napoli are well stocked in the forward department and this might be opening up a possibility of a sale for ‘Chucky’ Lozano soon.

The Scudetto champions have welcomed new manager Rudi Garcia to their side following the departure of Luciano Spalletti who requested a sabbatical of a year. It is hard to see the French manager taking a significant interest in renewing the 27-year-old winger’s contract as he has a host of options at his disposal.

Apart from West Ham, several other Premier League clubs are closely following the developments of Hirving Lozano at Napoli and the next few days are set to be crucial as an offer is imminent from one of them.

Fiorentina, the point on the future of Amrabat and who can take his place

Sofyan Amrabat at the center of the European market. "He'll be signing with a new club soon, I didn't want to risk it," Morocco coach Walid Regragui said last weekend, sure the Viola midfielder's transfer is now a matter of days.

Where can he go?

The Fiorentina player has never hidden it: he wants to move to Spain. In January he tried to force his hand for the transfer to Barcelona, but the Catalan club did not go beyond the loan. Too little, also because Fiorentina's valuation was and is 30 million euros. Today in Spain the strong interest is that of Atletico Madrid: from Spain they assure of a closing deal, but at the moment there is no confirmation on an immediate handover. This is why the Premier League hypothesis cannot be ruled out a priori: it is an idea from West Ham to replace Declan Rice, Nottingham Forest likes him.

Who can take his place at Fiorentina?
The lily management is evaluating different profiles for the possible replacement, a central midfielder functional to the 4-3-3 of the Italian. Two profiles convince: on the one hand Maxime Lopez of Sassuolo, on the other Salvatore Esposito of Spezia. For now, however, still no concrete steps, only certificates of esteem. Everything will pass from the sale of Amrabat.

West Ham and Everton have started ‘tentative’ talks for CL finalist ‘in recent weeks’ – Club looking to sell

By Sean Lunt

Everton and West Ham United have started ‘tentative’ talks for Inter Milan forward Joaquin Correa ‘in recent weeks’.

That’s according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who say the Champions League finalists are determined to move the player on this summer.

The newspaper explains that Inter’s forward line is set to look different next season, with Edin Dzeko on his way out at this moment in time and Correa another player the club will move on.

A new destination is ‘being sought’ for the Argentine despite him enjoying the trust of manager Simone Inzaghi as he has never won the club or the fans over.

Both the manager and the management at the club believe a transfer is a ‘necessity’ and he does have options on the table with admirers in Turkey, options in La Liga or the Premier League.

In the latter, ‘tentative talks’ have already been held with Everton and West Ham in ‘recent weeks’ about a potential move.

The nature of those talks isn’t mentioned, or a potential asking price from Inter, just that both Everton and West Ham have been in touch.

It’s not the first time either side have been linked with Correa and it seems both sides are looking at him again this year.
